12oz can: Pours a transparent bright golden with a large, airy, well-lacing froth of white head. Slightly pale malty aroma has lots of fresh, floral Saaz hoppy character. Starts fairly true to style with a big, floral, almost soapy Saaz hoppiness and some pale German malt toward a crisp, lightly peppery spiced, thinner finish. A pretty decent pils.

(can - 12 oz) Hazy pale yellow color with a thick and puffy white head. Aroma is very hoppy and dry with some light citrus. Flavor is very dry at the beginning with a nice and balanced hop and malt middle and a very bitter and cleansing finish. Bitterness lingers for a bit. Not a bad pils.

I do love these cans...
Very clear coloured golden body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of nice hops, fresh malt and a very strong citrus scent. Light-bodied; Very perfect combination of hops and malt along with some sweet flavours tapped with a good alcoholic kick. Aftertaste shows a plentiful amount of fresh and high a.a. hops...very nice! Overall, definitely one to have again, especially in summer, and especially because of the can! I sampled this twelve ounce CAN purchased from Oliverís Beverage in Albany, New York on 24-March-2007.

Can. Clear lemon in color. Quick foam that dissipates quickly. Brewery-tour hops aroma. Grassy, yeasty. Clean tasting and not overpowering. Bitter but not sharply so. Very nice and easy beer to take down while mowing the lawn

Thanks to Whaleman for the can. Pours clear straw color with a lofty and lasting pillowy malt. Aroma is grainy with some slight acidity (acid malt?). Light floral effervescent hops. Body is light but not as gassy as I was expecting. The flavor is huge layers of spicy hops, herbal and floral with a pleasant amount of malt character but this is no doubt an Americanís interpretation of the style. Huge hops through and through and an extremely dry bitterness. Nice beer.

Can courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear pale yellow-gold with little floaties and a huge rocky white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with grassy hops, yeast and grainy malt. Nice flavour of sweet malt, grassy hops, yeast and spices with a light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, itís always nice to have a good Pilsener as they are so hard to find.

Canned. Huge sticky head with great lasting power, slightly cloudy golden body, terrific Saaz nose. Superb balance, hoppy, tasty, outstanding example of the style.

(On draught at the brewery) I really liked this beer a lot. A great example of a German Pils, with the bitterness and aroma thatís very nice. A great American example of this style and I wish I could get this locally. Do yourself a favor and seek this beer out.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2007 Cloudy yellow pour. Is this baby unfiltered? Head is rocky white big bubbles. Aroma is dusty hops and lemony citrus. Flavor is lemony with some nice bitterness to the finish. Tasty. Body is right too. Different but very nice.6/4/8/4/17

RERATE: After drinking this beer a few times, I feel obligated to change my rating to reflect how I really feel about this delicious brew. For a beer as light as a pilsener, this one is about as complex as it gets. The pour is a hazy gold with a huge head of chunky white and lace that lasts throughout the entire experience. The flavor is the same as I remember, which is top notch and the body is perfect for a pilsener. This really deserves more respect.

Can. Lightyl hazed golden (can-conditioned??? yeah right) Voluminous and rocky head. Some woody hallertau-ish notes mixed in with a good saazy stink (good thing-pungent) Medium-light bodied. Dripping with delicious straw-inflected pils malt. This is really really good. Bummer (or is it not?) that this isnít available locally, as I could drink this by the truckload. i can only dream of trying this unfiltered and on draft. Bravo!
