Tap at the 2008 goat races. I really liked this pils, probably one of the best I’ve had in uite a long time! Poured light and cloudy in the glass, with a nice sized white head. very clean aroma and taste. Flavor was quite hoppy for a pilsener, some of my group didn’t enjoy this one, but I found it very tasty!

On tap at Zeno’s. Mild pils malt aroma with a bit of floral hops. A little sweetness but not a big nose. Golden yellow clear with thin white head, mild lacing. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with beany pilsner malt, light grainy sweetness, and some mild carbonic acidity. Light to medium crisp hoppy character with a decent bitter finish. Fairly clean, with light bitter after.

Can, thanks a lot Todd! Milky pale yellow, huge white foam. Big citric aroma on light bready malt aroma. Medium to light body, mellow mouthfeel. Huge resiny hop hit, sticks a bit on the tongue, leaving on citrus notes. A bit fudge shines through. Grassy and piney aftertaste. Not exactly a elegant brew, but pleasing to a hophead.

Sample, savoured at the Mondial de la bière on May 30 2008; eye: golden, no effervescence, no head, no lacing; nose: corn, adjunct; mouth: corn, caramel, finale in caramel with a hint of corn, acridness; overall: so?

Light grainy aroma. Clear golden color with a medium white head. Mild beginning of yeast and malt with a slightly hoppy finish.

The nose showed off aromas of light citrus and some yeast…basically a generic pilsner nose. In the mouth it was light-bodied and crisp which is very refreshing on a warm summer day. It is on the dry/bitter side, especially toward the finish, but the midpalate does come off as rather smooth.
