Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 11, 2006 A slightly hazy yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of citrus, but also light notes of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet and rather hoppy with light citrusy notes and a rather dry finish. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 16, 2007 Slightly hazy straw colour. Herbal, spicy nose with accents of bready malts. Crisp, rich grassy herbal hop character. Dry bitterness and fairly clean breezy malts. Nice, dry, herbal finish. Yum. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 5, 2005 Unfiltered Sly Fox Keller Pils version Clear bright golden hue is quickly the foundation to a siperb foamy white head that lasts forever. Fair toasted and bready malts serve as a base to the wondrous floral hops that characterize this beer. Leafy, lemony, herbal: vibrant hoppiness that emerge from the glass and brings you straight to Germany through a very dry portal. Citric in mouth, but in the course of a mineral and very crisp interplay, which makes it all work nicely.. Ahhh those flowery saaz. Light-medium bodied, extremely engaging carbonation. Remarkable pilsner!
