3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rich melanoidin red body, almost black appearance from afar, with a British head. In the olde British style. Dry roasty nose with gratey coffee flavor and some alcohol undertones.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Tap and Mallet. Pours a translucent dark brown color with red highlights and a thin offwhite head. Aroma of caramel and hops. Flavor of hops, caramel and some coco. It seems like a mix of a hoppy brown ale and a porter.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at tap and mallet, non-descript from the norm, but fine. Malty notes in the nose along with dark chocolate and a touch of espresso. Palate is medium to light, a hoppy presence, and roasted malts. Decent.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
If you’re a fan of Victory’s Storm King Stout, this will be right up your alley. It has the complexity of an Imperial, with some bitterness, but it’s a gentle, smooth sort of kick. Gorgeous and highly satisfying with many flavors, well-blended.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft->juice glass (tasting@brewery): pours a small, light brown, lasting head that exhibits good lacing atop a clear dark brown body. Aroma: malt->cookie, hops->perfume, light yeast with perhaps a tinge of cherry aroma mixed in there. The body is medium, the texture is sticky, carbonation is flat, and the finish is bitter. The flavor’s duration is average, and moderately sweet, acidic, and bitter.
I enjoyed this beer a lot and it is a worthy ’try’.
