Nov 24, 2007 12 oz. can. Pours a hazy light gold with a rocky white head that lasted until about mid-glass. Aroma was mostly wheat grain. The flavor was again mostly wheat grain, lightly sour. Smooth mouthfeel but over-carbonated. A very dull and pedestrian hefe.

Oct 25, 2007 [605-20070910] 355mL (w/ jerc). Slightly boozy wheat aroma, light sweet hay and a faintly burnt background. Hazy, pale orange body with a foamy medium-quick off-white head. Spicy lemon citrus hops flavour has wheat and notes of slightly rotten hay (but no lingering aftertaste, which is good). Medium body. Seems a little unconnected, but not bad.

Oct 19, 2007 Thanks to DocLock. Pours a nice hazy amber with a creamy offwhite head. The aroma is definitely wheat and definitely German influenced. Upfront sour wheat aroma, light sweet background, and some grassy hops. Smooth mouthfeel, a tad thin maybe with a bit more carbonation than I’m used to in the style. Mildly sour flavor, a bit sweet and grassy. Hmmm, peppery too. Needs a little more substance in the flavor. Leaves a spicy taste in the mouth. Not a bad beer, especially for a can!

Oct 19, 2007 The color was a cloudy yellow/orange. The head was creamy and white. The aroma was strong wheat with sour notes. It was definitely German. The flavor was sweet wheat with a sourness. The palate was smooth. The finish was clean.

Oct 4, 2007 12 oz. can via trade with bu11zeye - Pours a hazy golden color with a huge white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is yeast, banana, and toasted malt. Flavor is light malt and yeast. Medium body. A good beer. Thanks Markus.

Sep 23, 2007 (12oz can) Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Lasting frothy white head with cloudy orange amber body. Nose is mildly banana, vanilla and skunky. Tin tones. Somewhat tonic in flavour, wheat, grassy and banana.

Sep 23, 2007 Courtesy mgumby!!! Pours a very pale orange with a billowing head. Citrus clove aroma dominate, with some banana as well. Flavor is a bit more bitter than I expected, but it does go well with the citrus-spice component.

Sep 23, 2007 Cloudy beige/tan, with large bubbles and a large head. Aroma of pear and slightly sweaty yeast. Flavour is balanced with some moderate sweetness, covered by yeastiness. Finishes with a hint of wheaty tartness. Full body, spritzy at the end. OK, but not really hitting the high notes I want from the style (esp in terms of malt sweetness and estery/phenolic complexity). Thanks, John!
