3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
sampled at SFPN. A nice hazy straw color with a large frothy head. Aroma is pronounced banana esters and bubblegum, light spices. Taste is the same, with clove and a clean lightly spicy finish. Light bodied.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap: Pours a cloudy straw color with a nice white head. Flavor is of some orange, lemon, and spices. There is a surprising amount of hops in this beer for a heferweizen, but it is a nice balance.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was listed at the bar as Sly Fox Weizen so I hope I am rating the correct beer. It poured a cloudy orange color and the flavor was right up the middle as far as wheat beers are concerned. Not a bad beer by any means.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2007 Draught @ Sly Fox Phoenixville. Nice looking Hefe with a light sweet aroma. Sweet and light with a fairly typical wheat taste and a nice finish. I’m not a huge Hefe guy, but this one was pretty good and did the trick on a hot day.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty well done hefeweizen. My only complaint is a bit of a watery finish. I am starting to think I was tasting weird last night... who knows. I got that same feeling with a few of the beers.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2006 draught: comes off the tap a cloudy yellow. The aroma is right on the money, citrus, banana, yeast, and spice. Flavor to was right on the money for hefe, nice lemmony citrus with plenty of spice, and some fruitiness. Seemed to be more gererously hopped than typical weizen, but in a good way. palate was medium and sticky, slightly syruppy. Good Hefe!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap. Pours a cloudy yellow with a great puffy white head. Looked great. Banana and citrus on the nose. Smelled great. Flavors fell short of the look and smell on this one. Creamy mouthfell, but the banana and citrus profile dropped out a little and were less formidable. This was very enjoyable, spice was on the money. A real nice hefeweizen, I was just expecting something incredible following the initial tease.
