A Bavarian style Wheat Beer brewed with German Pils and Wheat malts and hopped with Hersbrucker hops. This beer is served unfiltered in a traditional wheat beer glass. Medium bodied, tan in color, fruity.

Pours a slightly hazy sunny orange-yellow color, with a big, rocky, foamy head. The aroma is a lovely combination of slightly-caramelized bananas, yeast, and a hint of peppery hops. The flavor similarly has more of the semi-sweet, yeasty, banana-like wheat malts, along with a little bit of earthy hops that doesn’t quite meld with the fruity malt base. The very-fine, soft carbonation allows the medium body to get a little (tiny) bit syrupy, while somehow also being a bit prickly on the tongue at the same time. Overall, an above-average hefeweizen for my taste.

one of the more solid US-made german style hefes - big, full aroma of ripe banana, yeast, spice and honeycomb. flavor is very good yet not quite as sharp as aroma - a bit sweet and rounded but all the components of a good hefe and no cloying sour/lemon wheatyness-just good smooth banana yeast bubble gum etc with some grain and spicyness eclipsed only slightly by some flabby breadiness - overall, absolutely worth a try if you want a weizen

Can at home. Pours murky orange. Little or no head for a weiss beer which is not great. Heavy bread notes, clove, spice. Flavour follows nose. Okay

Can: Cloudy, yellow-gold...huge, off-white head. Spicy orange-banana, wheat aroma. Sweet citrus over wheat malt.... Almost a smokiness to it..... Nearly tart fruit, subdued by the spices and sweet banana softness. Really nice.

12 oz can. Pour is an unfiltered, murky orangish gold with an effervescent white head. Aroma is sweet orange, coriander, melon. Taste is the classic German Wheat style, with orange, lemon zest, spice and coriander. Mouthfeel is pretty light with high carbonation. Tastes like something I would drink by the pool in a few months.

Can courtesy of the good people at Great Grog. Clear golden with white head. Aroma of herbs and spices, peppery and estery, coriander, lactic and sweaty. Taste is very peppery and spicy with coriander. Light bodied with a clean finish. I’d say it has more in common with a Belgian Wit. Nit really my bag but not bad

Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. This is a hazy yellow beer with vanilla, lemon and bubblegum flavours followed by a very dry creamy finish.
