Can. Cloudy golden color with white head. Aromas of cereal, honey, lemon, banana. Flavors of cereal, banana, lemon, clove. Slightly sweet finish. Slightly tart. Medium-thin body with moderation carbonation and slimey mouthfeel.

Dark orange-brown, white foam, lots of foam, took a while to pour this one. Aroma is lemon zest, some crackery malt. Taste is some more lemony character, a bit thin, not a lot going on and I would almost describe it as slightly tart. With the large amounts of foam, I’m wondering if this one is a bit off, will try it again.

Thanks to lithy for this one. pours very cloudy orange - this mat be the cloudiest beer I’ve ever gotten from a can. Big fluffy white head. Smells like orange, then the typical German Hefe aromas. Flavor is similar - maybe a little more fruity / citrusy than normal, but then a lot of typical flavors. I liked it.

Serving: Draft at my hotel in Philly. It pours a cloudy gold color with a light, pillowy white head. The nose has the traditional banana and clove. Those notes carry through in the flavor with a slight wheat note but a very dry finish. This one leaves you thirsting for that next sip. I am not a huge hefe fan, but I found this one rather enjoyable.

On tap, Royersford. Pours a cloudy and hazy yellow body with a frothy white head that faded to a thin film. Lots of nice lacing. Big fruity and estery nose with lots of banana and bubble gum and some light clove notes. Perfect Hefe flavor, lots of yeast, bubble gum, clove, and banana. Great spicy finish. Amazingly well done yeast influence. Mouthfeel is full and creamy with a nice yeast slurry texture. Nice soft carbonation. Pretty darn good, better than I remembered it. I could drink a lot of these on a nice summer day.

12 oz can; hazy dark orange with trace white head; creamy bananas, sugar, stale lemons and mild cloves; nice aroma but a little on the sweet side; lots of sweet wheat and creamy bananas; texture is thin and a little syrupy; not as impressed with this one as the Pikeland Pils; heavy banana and not too subtle

Draft at white dog with Linh. Pours a hazy orange body with nice creamy, white lacing. Aroma is nice citrus and wheat. Mouthfeel is smooth and refreshing with citrus notes in the front any a wheaty backbone.

unripe banana, honey, cloves, golden raisins, slightly sweet, very drinkable and creamy for a hefe.

Mild banana aroma. Seems to be thick from the can. Nice muddy appearence. Thick on the tongue too, rather viscous palate. Yes, much thicker than most other hefes. Has a strong pointed malt bitterness in there for the finish. Heavy banana spice too. Lots of sediment from the bottom of the can makes for a swirling hypnotizing pour. Creamy on the taste buds.

A hazed golden weizen with a thick froathy off white head. Aroma of banana mash, apples, loads of cloves, and vanilla. In mouth, a silky fruity offering with loads of fruity esters, eugenol, light spices, silky mouthfeel, with nice bittering hops in finale, well rounded overall. 1.99$ for a 12 on. can, Bessette’s in Canton, NY.
