| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 31, 2010 Had a bottle that poured a cloudy orange. Nice tan head that stuck around for a little before dissipating. Aroma of malts and citrus, very smooh drinking with a bit of a bitter kick. The bitterness decreased and was replaced with sweetnes as the beer warmed up. Nice beer. mingo1968 (41), phila, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 18, 2010 Enjoyed via draft in a pub glass. The beer pours a light to medium golden color with a moderate white head. The nose gives very strong notes of piney/citrusy west coast American hops. No malt character is discernable. The palate is fairly bitter in the approach, also carrying a slight malt character. However, this fades into a veritable wall of bitterness and resiny hop flavor in the back end of the palate. Unfortunately, there is a slightly harsh note to the flavor that detects from the overall taste, stopping just short of unpleasantness. Overall, a good IPA that could benefit from a re-working of the late addition hop choices. roder60 (1045), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2010 Had at the Mad Mex in Cranberry, PA. Poured a nice clear amber brown color with medium layer of creamy offwhite head that lasted. Aroma very citric, grapefruit, with slight sweetness. Flavor is lots of citric hops up front without being overpowering, then a nice sweet caramel malt base and a bitter hoppy finish that lasts. Very enjoyable beer. madmitch76 (1100), , Essex, England

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 16, 2009 I really liked this! A nice copper color body that was slightly opaque. A nice off-white, frothy head that had great retention and nice lacing. Aroma had a big hop profile mostly a pine note with some grapefruit notes. Flavor was mostly hops, bold hops fruit malt notes subtly balanced out the aggressive hop notes. Finish was dry. DJMonarch (7134), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Hoppy aroma. Bronze coloured very hoppy and fruity pineapple flavour with a little dryness in a crisp and bitter malt finish.
