Pours a coppery orange, not much head or lacing. Hoppy pine aromas. Sweet malts, hoppy bitterness, hints of caramel and citrus. Overall, not bad.

Pours bright orange with a one finger head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, caramel, sweet malts, and some herbal hops. Tast is about the same as the aroma with a lot of nice hops with a pretty nice sweet malts backbone. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi-moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice, hoppy, yet still well balanced ipa.

Aroma: flowers, tropical fruits. Appearance: hazy amber, medium, creamy, beige head. Taste: medium bitter. Palate: remains very bitter, some resin, quite dry finish. Overall: OK IPA, but struggles to stand out. Pint at Big Brew, Morristown.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2015 Cans. Orange hued IPA, decent head, nice aroma. A lot of hops in this one, but they are all over the place so it is hard to identify any one. Sort of a multinational IPA. Not just citrus and pine. The body is decent, but fights a losing battle. The finish is dry a slightly bitter, but I don’t buy that this is 113 IBU. I know we can only taste so much bitterness, but this doesn’t seem to hit the ceiling.

26-SEP-2014, bottle @home, from Barley Wine. Very hazy orange with lasting, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is really hoppy and sweet. Is this really an IPA? Feels a lot more like an IIPA. Very fruity hops. Not that grape fruit bomb I was expecting. Taste is hops with orange peel, over ripe exotic fruits and then tons of malt with caramel and bread. Earthy, licor-like. Full body, soft carbonation. Fruit bomb with sweet malt backbone. Fantastic. Easily an IIPA.

Can from bottle cap bar. Pours a slightly hazed orange with a frothy head which lasts. Nice lacing. Aromas has that Belgian style whiff with a strong malty peach. Nice hoppy taste with a a musty wood linger
