12 ounce can opened 11/28/13. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, candied citrus, herbal hops and caramel malts. The taste is toffee, candied citrus, citrus and mild piney hops. Medium bodied, high carbonation, moderate lingering bitterness. Nice beer.

Best by: 5/9/11 poured to NB globe. A: Pours a surprisingly amber/caramel ale with limited head which recedes to sheet of fine white foam. This hugs the sides and reaches upward. Little lacing. S: Plenty of resinous, earthy hops. Hints of conifer. Plenty of malt in here too. Again, a surprise for this style. Fairly unimpressive. T: Metallic, resin, pine. Good bittering. Fairly robust malt with plenty of caramel in the background. M: medium body with spritely carbonation. Very slicking in the mouth. D: drinkable, but overall, very forgetable. Serving type: can 02-14-2011

24/XI/13 - 33cl can @ home - BB: XII/23 (2013-1095) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the can!

Clear red amber beer, creamy big light beige head, bit stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet caramel, very fruity, passion fruit, malty, bit sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: bit sweet, fruity start, bit caramelly, quite some citrus, ripe mango. Aftertaste: very bitter, grassy, piny hops, slightly sweet and fruity, very dry, medicinal ending.

Pours a light amber. Has a faint malt and light hop aroma. Has a strong malt start that fades to a strong bitter citrus hop aftertaste.

Can. Best by: 03/04/14. Different label than that in the picture. Mine says 7% ABV. A hazy rust pour with a thick and bubbly beige head. The resiny aroma features strongly of spruce, grapefruits, citrus rinds, medicinal qualities, and a touch of caramel. A tad leathery and earthy. Medium body. Caramel, herbs, and pine upfront taste-wise. Bitter citrus fruits and rinds & juniper berries at the end. A strange graininess and a touch of warming alcohol throughout. A unique IPA.

Bottle at NS tasting, #??. Pours great in my mouth since I don’t have a glass in the train. Aroma is malty and some grasd. Maybe not so fresh sadly. Taste is very bitter and light sweet. Malts and caramel. Did not expect that. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

12oz can from The Good Spirits Co. Hazy reddish orange brown, massive foamy head. Resin pine hop aroma. Fruity flowery tar hop flavour. Sharp with bubblegum hop aftertaste. Yes it is possible to get good beer in a can.
