3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Phoenixville location, July 2006. A dark orange beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is lovely sweet and hoppy with some grapefruit notes, my guess is Cascade. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, but very early the hops hits the palate with strong notes of grass, that turns more towards grapefruit towards the end, which is very dry and bitter.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Havnens, Vejle
Cloudy amber color; generous head, frothy; apparently the carbonation is high. The aroma is quite fruity, some tangerines. The mouthfeel is rather dry, maybe there has been an additional fermentation in the bottle; strong caramel flavor, and strong bitterness; the hopping brings some harsh resins; the final is long and a tad too bitter.
I suspect it’s not at its prime.
