A Belgian style Saison (or Farmhouse Ale) brewed with a blend of British Pale and German Pils malt and hopped with East Kent Goldings. Fermented with a special proprietary yeast which imparts its dry, spicy character. Golden orange in color.

bottle... medium gold, clear, a huge head be careful when pouring, the head is off white, good retention and lace... musky and big bite of sweetness, but the back has a touch of skunk, ok... the taste is quite good, almost shockingly good, its a sweeter saison, but not so that it dominates, sweet sugary start then the finish is floral and musky, not a ton of depth, but super easy to drink and enjoyable, a good starter saison

Sampled at GABF 2011. Hazy yellow pour with a bright white head. Light, funky aroma with a hint of lemon zest. Good well-balanced flavor with little bitterness. An easy drinking saison.

Deep clear golden yellow, huge fluffy white head. Aroma is bubble gum and green apple, some barnyard, and spicy yeast. Body is medium + with high, spritzy carbonation. Flavors are biscuity yeast, sour apple, and a crisp, dry pilsner like finish with a lactic acidity. Also some creamy lemon. Kind of high ABV for a saison, there is noticeable alcohol on the finish. Not sure if the German Pils malt and East Kent Goldings hops are the best choice for a traditional rustic Belgian Farmhouse ale. Nicely balanced beer and well made, just not a very authentic feeling saison.

Big Top Beer Distro, PA variety pack: Pours a light and hazy golden color with a big frothed up white head. Aroma is of pepper, some other spices, mild hops, and a note of kielbasa (according to my brother). The taste and body are equally light. In a sense, this beer fulfills the refreshing function of a saison beautifully. It doesn’t try to be pretentious or experimental, instead it delivers an extremely well-balanced ale with a mildly spice character. If looked at from a normative perspective, there are no flaws in this beer.

This poured a darker yellow/orange color with an off white head. Aroma was a good amount of spices, some yeasty notes too. Flavor was a bit sweet for a saison, light light flowery funk, and yeast. OK.
