COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This new Irish-style red ale, brewed in honor of St. Patrick's Day, is made with British pale and crystal malts and hopped with Centennial (bittering) and East Kent Golding (aroma). Seamus Red is nicely balanced, smooth drinking and has a delightful hop finish. OG 13.0 IBU 22

Dark red, thin foam. Flavor a little too strong and don’t like aftertaste, a bit of a watery finish

Draft at lucky lab. Pours reddish copper with minimal head. The aroma has a nice caramel scent, light cocoa maybe. The taste is malty with a sweet caramel, light bitterness on the finish. Unusual but okay.

Pours a reddish amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruit, and hops. Nice flavor with caramel, hops, and dark fruit. Really nice beer for the style.

PGHbeer77 (571) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2012
Draft at Bocktown event 4/21/12. A more potent red ale. Slightly sweet scent, medium bodied palate with a slightly sticky finish, and a red tinted amber pour. The taste was similar to a brown ale, grains and bread, but had a potent kick to it I haven’t seen in many other reds. Impressive.
