JorisPPattyn (7878) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 5, 2010
Small dense, light-yellow head; clear old-golden beer. Rather intense grains nose, popcorn, slightly toasted, hazy, with a hint at noble hops. Dry, near-hoppy initial flavour with a finish that is again grainy, but still quite dry. Some metallic bitterness lingering. Balance is quite good, sweetness nearly imperceptible, straw-like. Light body, faint grist slickness. Very good Bohemian pilsener, vying with good Franconian and ditto Czech examples. Many thanks to the Slovak Urselians!

0.5 l bottle. Pale amber colour, medium head and average sparkling: Light sourish-sweet/yeasty smell. The taste is light-sweet, body’s watery. Flavour is watery/mallty, light-bitter finish. It’s an easy drinkable beer, nothing extra.

Ungstrup (29208) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 8, 2009
Bottled. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has primary notes of malt, but also light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw as well as lighter notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

rickgordon (3843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2009
Bottled. Golden colour, diminishing head. Big dsm in aroma. Vague pale malty flavour with classic International Lager features with low bitterness. Stale grassy hops. Bottle probably in bad condition.

dreamloomer (66) - Warsaw, POLAND - JUL 29, 2009
Pils colour with a low, short-lasting head. Aroma not that strong, malty and hoppy. Very refreshing, with hoppy flavour notes and surprising maltiness. Not very bitter.
