Now That can buy their six packs in cans, mind you. .. I will reach in my fridge after work. Itís summer and this ale will treat you right. Floral million citrus nose, with a nice pineapple, melon, clove and orange peel finish. Pours a lovely gold orange. Please visit their brewery in Norfolk VA. Cheers!

Pint on tap at Norfolk Tap Room. Hazy golden pear color with a lasting ring of cream. Nose shows some toast, mild funky yeast and lemon zest. Taste is a bolder mix of the same with some white pepper adding more zing. Light-medium body is to the dry side and has medium-high carbonation.

Pours a cloudy orange. The aroma was almost unbearable... But the taste is better, citrus and peel.

Light amber colour small head. Aroma of yeast, floral and a hint of grain. Grainy, floral taste. With a flowery yeasty finish.

GABF 2013. Recommended to me by 3fourths. Pours a slightly hazy orange appearance with an off white head. Dry, orange citrusy, very herbal/grassy, peppery, barnyard aroma. Easy drinking, spicy peppery, orange citrusy, soft pils malty, a touch bready flavor. Chill beer that Iím glad MJ recommended that I try.

Draft at GABF 2013, multiple samples. The favorite so far. An exceptional DuPont clone with vivid floral lemon farmhouse yeast, minty and juicy and peppery Goldings, tart, lightly musty, enjoyable phenols, a little bit of gummy candy and lemon peel resemblance. Toasty, dry baked bread pilsner malt, texture softened and rounded by yeast. Outstanding!

On tap after a period at sea. This is a very by the book, conservative saisson. It is one of those beers which could serve well as an introduction, a measuring stick for a style. The fruit and spice elements are subdued and present themselves more in the aroma than the taste. The beer is good, but it did not blow me away. I would drink it again and it has piqued my curiosity about Smartmouth.

First beer Iíve tried from this new Virginia brewery. Medium towards deep hazy orange amber, very little head (growler fill from Whole Foods, but even with that the head was very slight and lacked retention). Aroma was primarily grainy with some faint "Belgian" yeast spiciness. Flavor was a match. Some light fruity notes mingled in with the spice, but this was actually rather malt driven (although dry, not sweet). The esters and phenolics were quite restrained. Having said all that, it was flavorful and enjoyable to drink.. Liked it probably more than this score indicates.
