Black as night, youíre not going to be seeing anything through this beast. Huge roasty aromas mixed with coffee and chocolate. Thereís a big roasted taste followed by big coffee and chocolate. Super smooth and highly drinkable. Crush a few of these and youíll be feeling good. Excellent milk stout from a fantastic brewery. Cheers!

Cowcatcher is a solid milk stout. The aroma is typical of stout, though light on the hop. The appearance is dark, though the head was a little thin. The taste is perfectly balanced, malty and creamy and very rich. A sessionable beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a growler purchased at the brewery. Pours brown with a khaki head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and faint floral hops. Great flavor of chocolate, light smoke, weak coffee, and just a touch of vanilla. Mouth feel is perfect with just a hint of creaminess and sweetness as you would expect from a milk stout. Nearly perfect for the style and a very nice beer.

Nutty pecan aroma with chocolate accents. Black, medium tan head, good lacing. Pecan and almond flavor, lightly and appropriately sweet. Finishes more bitter with some toast and char notes. Drinks a little hot. Great example of the style without being milquetoast, pun absolutely intended.
