3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Yorktown, Va - Water Street Grill - on tap. Pours a sparkling medium copper with a tight off-white head. Aroma has a touch of wort, some sweet molasses. Flavor has a hint of caramel, some nectarine sweetness, a bit of syrupy maple sweetness. Mouthfeel has a nice smoothness to it. Very decent representation of a kind of murky, ill-defined style.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Urban Tavern The ale poured a clear dark amber with an off white head and some lacing. The aroma was faint caramel malts and some yeast.. There is some sweetness in the taste with nuts. The ale has a medium body with soft carbonation. This is a good ale to enjoy while watching American Pharoah win the Derby.

Taste- Has a rather malty flavor that I enjoy with that is more toasted malt than anything else, there is some hops in the background.
Palate- A light to medium bodied beer with mild carbonation.
Overall- A thoroughly enjoyable beer, I will drink this again.
