Dark amber beer, tasting of very sweet, dark roasted malt. No appearance of hops evident in mouth. Overall; sweet and cloying.

Cask at Ship Centurion, Whitstable: Dark watery ale, very thin in mouth. A little bit of malt but nothing else to this beer. This is dishwater, very poor.

Cask conditioned - Went to have this in a the Queens Head, Sedgeborough, Worcs yesterday but it ran dry as soon as they started serving it. Tried it in a pub in Prestbury, Glos today. Red amber colour, bit cloying malty aroma fairly inconspicous franky a bit dissapointed.

Cask conditioned - served without sparkler. Reddish tint, with a malty aroma. Taste is also malty with a hint of fruit. Not particularly distinguished.

Mid amber colour. Malty and sweetish, with toffee undertones and a hint of aromatic hop. Curranty dried fruit finish. Medium bodied and reasonably well balanced. Very palatable. Handpump, Lord Moon of the Mall, Whitehall, London SW1

Cask Fresh @ JDW, Gravesend. Cask Marque. I tried this in a JDW pub in Forest Hill and got served the wrong beer, so it's good to have another chance at it. Dark sultry amber with assorted bubble head lingering seductively like the frothy lace of female underwear. Vaque fruit sweetness up front, slightly sticky, with a mild acidity, then some woody almost roasty notes come in. A tanginess rides along the top. Finishes dry, with tree bark flavours. Quite nice.
