2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. It pours a small, off-white head over an almost clear golden body. The aroma has a cellary touch, with quite a lot of Belgian style white sugar. Fruity and perfumed too. The flavor has a little milky sourness, with pale malts, fruityness and some white sugar. Medium body, semi-dry, and with a low level of carbonation. Not a very successful one, feels a bit unclean too. 130510

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2013 Two beers with the same name !!!! The barcode on the bottle is the same, but the crown cap is black or white. HOME 20130303 (33 cl bottle Duvel-type with black crown) A pale ale coloured clear beer with an off-white head. A good head, stick to the glass and stay long. Aroma is caramel, slightly roasted barley, toffee-like, some yeast and a small amount of citrus-like hops. In the taste some sweetness (caramel, toffee), some fruit (marmalade, lychee) and a citrus-like bitter, but also malty bitterness. Nice combination. In the aftertaste some alcohol, bitterness of hops and malt. A dry-bitterness feeling.
HOME 20130329 (33 cl bottle Duvel-type with white crown) A different beer as the former!!!! Apparance (2): A yellow, cloudy beer with a thin white foam layer. Aroma (6): some malt, butter, higher alcohols, some fruit (oranje); Taste (6): some malt, fruity (oranje pear, peache), soap-like; Palate (2): full-body of the butter/soap-like tate; Overall (8): not an attractive beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
17th December 2011
Very hazy amber beer, good off white head. Light semi dry palate, a little soft. Bitterish brett flavour contrasts with nice hops - bitterish orange, smooth peach and lesser tropical fruits. A little minerals and then building bitterness. Really nicely joined up and satisfying beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle bought in Belgium.. somewhere. Fruity and yeasty smell. Similar taste, it had a fairly harsh yeasty aroma that I think was a result of allot of yeast around the neck of the bottle. It got better when we managed to wash that part away.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
0,33 l bottle as a gift.
Poured murky peach colored one with a huge pillowy-creamy white head. Spicey aroma with coriander, fruity, typical belgian yeasts, herbal hops, some tropical fruits, candy sugar. Fine sweet fruity taste, coriander, clove in the flavor, grassy herbal strong, warming alcohol. Fine, but nothing special.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin lacing of foam. Not bags of aroma, but its fruity rather than hoppy. Taste starts Belgian but finishes like a wheat beer, with cloves and spice. Dry almost salty finish which I find does not really compliment the fruity malty taste. Ok, but not sure I’d have another.
