Had this on Tap at Red Hugh’s in Augusta, GA.... Pretty decent brew... small but frothy head, nice lacing, a mahogoany brown color. Has a nice slightly sweet oat and nut taste. Not as sweet as a Nut Brown ale.... Not a super strong taste, but quite nice to have a pitcher of

Look; off-white top, clear golden body. Aroma; grassy juicy fruity mild hops, pale caramel malts. Taste; wort, malts, fruity soft hops, nuts, roasted notes, leading to a malty soft finish. Palate; good, normal body. Overall; nothing wrong here, easy n nice. [tap@BishopsArms Luleå Sweden]

Pours clear coppery brown with small-medium off-white head, which goes quickly but leaves some nice lacing and small skim. Big caramel nose with yeast and some nuttiness. Palate follows suit, with caramel, burnt toast, slight fruitiness that tends toward pumpkin plus a touch of hop bitterness on the finish. In no way is this complex or nuanced, but it’s a delicious session beer that’s gone before you know it.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2016 Ruby red and clear as a bell. Slightly off-white foamy head about a cm thick after it was poured out of the 500ml can. At first you can smell the yeast which is followed by a deep floral and fruity aroma. It has a certain caramel malty flavour and a hint of bitterness and balanced.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Cigarette City. Aroma is dominant caramel with earth and dark fruits with red wine quality. Appearance is clear dark reddish amber with trace sparkle, finger-width foamy off-white head with fair retention and fair leggy lacing. Taste is as aroma with strong caramel but also light bitter from Noble hops. Palate is medium bodied, average-to-lively carbonation with slight numbing to lips; finish is crisp and abrupt. Overall, a pretty straightforward beer without a lot of nuance outside the aroma.

Decent ok session able ale.
Fine amber pour with an ok off white head. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Toffee, fruity, mild roasted and herbal flavor.
