Pours a deep copper color with a white head that leaves nice lacing. Fairly sweet aroma with notes of malt and caramel. Lots of carbonation on the palate leads to a great tasting brew. Sweet and malty up front with just a hint of hoppy bitterness at the end. A very tasy beer.

Fra fat på Bishops Arms, Kiruna 13 Des 14. Dyp gyldenbrun. OK tett skum som varer en stund. Tett teppelacing. Smaken er beskjeden. Antydning til karamell.

500 ml red can from a four-pack from Sobeys Liquor outlet, and served in my Okanagan Spring shaker pint glass. Pours a lovely, brilliant, deep reddish amber with lasting, fine, off-white head and plenty of spotty lace. Aroma is of bright, sweet malt/grains, red berries, and an earthy, woody hint. Flavor is mostly fruity, half-sweet, half-sour, and well-balanced. Good mouthfeel and a pleasant finish. Not the most exciting red ale, but a fine and refreshing version nonetheless.

Bottle. Dark amber with off white head. Sweetish malt aromas with some small spice note. Light hop verging on no-hop. Just ok.

Pour is amber with a finger of off-white cap. Mild retention and lacing. Nose is caramel and grain and not much else. Taste follows. I feel like there’s a hint of bitterness on the finish, but after a week of drinking 75-100 IBU IPAs, it feels pretty faint. As many others have mentioned, this stuff is more or less designed to be drinkable, boring, and inoffensive. It succeeds at least.

Poured from a can. Pretty decent beer but not amazing. Part of a variety pack.

A solid macro-produced red. This beer would be much better with a little more body, but I feel like this is a macro-side effect. Dollars are more important than quality.

Tap. Some hints of caramel on the nose -- no hoppiness here. Raven to caramel colour, good head. Aromas are subtle but very present. Refreshing. Nice thirstquencher.

Very refreshing after a long hard day. Very smooth and unique taste gives this a very palatable taste. Dark yet light tasting, something not to be taken lightly. Although bubbly not too carbonated to make one gassy and full feeling. A good session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at O’Hara NY. Light brown color with thin foam. Caramel aroma is almost not there. Not much taste hits you. Easy to drink.

From a bottle. Pours a medium brown-red and makes a foamy white head. Aroma is faint, but smells of malted barley. Tastes of malt, caramel, and sugar. This is a session beer, nothing too remarkable, but decent ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
