2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Odd, but thatís what it is. 99p from Rhythm Ní Booze, Cleethorpes. Jelly red with a generous cream head going nowhere. Dough and rust nose with mineral streaks. Soft and papery with a (generally) inoffensive wet dough and aniseed character. Egg custard afters; fig, rust- all heavily watered of course. Basically tastes like a very dull old school English cask bitter- probably Batemanís. OK.
