4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A nice alternative to Killians or other Irish Reds. Slightly hazy reddish in color. Thin head with very little lacing present. Nice taste, slightly fuller than Killians. Excellent drink-ability, goes down smoothly and very quickly was ready for another. No overpowering after taste. Definitely would drink again.

Hope this is the right brew...
A light malt aroma, light aroma all together. A medium red crystal clear brew with good head retention. It tasted of light caremel and a low carb and no bitterness. It was smooth and crisp id say a good summer brew. Worth a buy and maybe a few more.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a deep red-orange colour, with two fingers of head. Looks delicious. Smells of malt (caramel) and fruits. Taste is bready, with faint hop notes and a long, somewhat bitter finish. Pleasing to the palate and goes down easier than water for me! Also makes the best Black & Tan (or "Blacksmith") when combined with Guinness. Overall, my favourite Irish Beer.
[EDIT] - My 500ml can is 5% alc, but is clearly labelled Smithwicks Draught. Not sure if I have reviewed in the correct section, but I imagine they are close enough in taste!

Poured from can. Poured medium copper brown colour with good head. Looks great !! Mild malt aroma with slight sweetness. Tastes about the same. Nothing really memorable, but definitely a good quality. Easily drinkable.

caramel, grass, resin, red, brown, clear, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, umami, light body, thin feel, creamy, soft carbonation, bitter, long finish
Really nice dark ruby pour with minimal white head. Aromas of sweet dark caramel are subtle with more green grass and tree sap pronounced. Thin bodied and lightly carbonated with a slick mouthfeel. Taste is more on the bitter side with some light sourness and sweet as well. Aftertaste is bitter and a light astringency lingering between sips.

De belles couleurs et fraîche à la pression. Un peu frustré, par son goût qui est présent, certes mais un peu trop doux à mon goût !

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Great reddish amber color, very clear. Head sticks around for a few mins. Tastes more like a lager than an ale. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
dark copper with an offwhite head. smell is sweet malt, quite subdued. taste is leafy hops, a rounded maltiness, light caramel character. palate is smooth and full bodied relative to the low alcohol. subdued but quite good and fits in well as an occasional sessioner.

14.7 oz can from Bert’s Better Beers
Pours a tawny copper color with a decent sized long lasting off white head that leaves decent lace on the glass. Smells a bit of sulfury mineral water with a bit of caramel and toffee aromas rounding out the nose. The flavor is rich and malty with a light sweet brown sugar and caramel offset with a hint of buttery bitter toffee and earthy mineral water. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet lingering mouthfeel. Feels more like a macro lager than and Irish ale, but the richer darker malts keep me a little bit interested.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: Smelling weak of bread, nuts, some grass and pears.
Appearance: A clear ruby ale with a compact off-white head leaving some lacing, but small curtains.
Taste: A sweet bread start, some red apples and walnuts.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, rather refreshing texture, a small body and a light dry finish.
Overall: A light beer, and a bit boring.
