Transfer from BA review on 11-17-13- Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a nice golden amber color with a two finger pure white head. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is mainly of a rather sweet caramel smell mixed with a moderately strong corn aroma and some aromas of a grainy nature. Other than these aromas, are some smells of more tea like nature as well as a bit of earth and grass. Taste – The taste begins with a rather sweet caramel flavor as well as some flavors of a light grainy bread taste. As the taste moves on some flavors of tea and honey come to the tongue as well as a little bit of a more grassy taste. In the end, a little bit floral and some earthy hop flavors come to the tongue, leaving a rather easy going sweet and lightly hopped flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. Both are rather appropriate for the sweet, tea, and lightly hopped flavors of the brew and make for an easy drinker. Overall - A little on the lighter hop and sweeter side for a pale ale, but easy drinking none the less. A decent drinker.

Tap. Mediocre golden pour. Kind of plain hop, wheat, cereal nose, but smells enough like beer. Has some crisp honey in the initial taste and a clean finish that doesn’t fight, so it’s refreshing to start, but seemed to get stale rather quickly and was a bit of a chore by the end of it. Not terrible, but disappointing.

Lys oransje med lavt skum. Helt gjennomsiktig. Frisk aroma av blomster, sitrus og malt. Smaken er noe metallisk, med en anelse bitterhet. I tillegg malt og noe karamell. Tynn konsistens.

Bottle at home. Pours a golden orange color. The beer is topped with an off-white colored solid foam. The aroma is sweet with notes of biscuit, orange, lemon, light malt, jelly candy, and the hops is lurking in the background. Light and comfortable. In the flavor I find hay and more pale malt and a little fudge in an otherwise dry finish. Mouth feel is smooth, and the beer has a moderate bitterness. This is an easy-drinking, balanced and classic English pale ale.

Bread, grains, fruits, caramel and faint citrus in the aroma. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light to medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a nice fruity Irish Ale.
