Pours a slightly hazy golden with a substantial large bead head that begins to break down fairly quickly. Aroma is malt and mown grass. Taste is sweet pale malt and grassiness with a rather thin texture. Some hop bitterness at the end. Refreshing, but not too exciting.

Not much aroma on opening. Darker than usual. Large head on pouring which recedes quickly enough. Nice tasting. Nice and smooth on the palate. A softer, more relaxed Pale ale. A good session beer. Probs better again on draught. A good choice if you don’t like the bitters on the end of traditional IPAs.

Draught @ various places in Dublin. Also in bottles. Light coloured ale with fine head. Really nice citrus like taste from the hops. Really refreshing. This was the beer that made an impression on me during my recent trip in Dublin.

500ml bottle. Pours darker than I would have imagined. Sweet, fruity taste. Not gassy in the slightest. Medium body and thick white head. Prefer this in draught though. Some of the flavour seems to be lost in this bottled version.

Can from Bert’s
Pours a slightly hazy medium gold color with a decent off white head that persists for quite a while. Aromas of bready caramel and toffee with hints of light floral hops. The flavor is light sweet sugar with hints of caramel and toffee and bits of light fruit and earthy hop. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Not a bad pale ale, probably not something I would pick up often, but something I might buy for my relatives.
