14.9 ounce can, part of the Irish Beer Discovery Pack from Diageo. Full golden color, nice white foam. The aroma is of hops and ale esters. The flavor is slightly sweet with perceptible hop oils. Almost tastes American because ot the hops. Not my favorite beer from Smithwick´s, but a quality product nonetheless. Kind of like a mild West Coast IPA.

Transfer from BA review on 11-17-13- Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a nice golden amber color with a two finger pure white head. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is mainly of a rather sweet caramel smell mixed with a moderately strong corn aroma and some aromas of a grainy nature. Other than these aromas, are some smells of more tea like nature as well as a bit of earth and grass. Taste – The taste begins with a rather sweet caramel flavor as well as some flavors of a light grainy bread taste. As the taste moves on some flavors of tea and honey come to the tongue as well as a little bit of a more grassy taste. In the end, a little bit floral and some earthy hop flavors come to the tongue, leaving a rather easy going sweet and lightly hopped flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. Both are rather appropriate for the sweet, tea, and lightly hopped flavors of the brew and make for an easy drinker. Overall - A little on the lighter hop and sweeter side for a pale ale, but easy drinking none the less. A decent drinker.

Poured from tap. Pours a golden color with a thick white head made of tiny bubbles. Aroma of hops. A complex flavor starting smooth and water-like but quickly transitioning to a sweet corn middle to bitter and hoppy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

440ml/15floz can into a shaker glass; served cold. Aroma: Mild malt with some gentle, pine-y hops. Pretty tame, but nice. Appearance: Dark gold body with a persistent, bubbly white head. High visible effervescence. Taste: Moderate piney hop presence. Straightforward, but really nice! Palate: Light-medium body with a short, flowery-hop finish. Overall: Pleasantly surprised! Actually some nice flavor in this one. A nice surprise indeed.

Can. Golden and looking like a macro, this actually turned out to be a sturdy, even-keeled beer, if a bit "regular." There’s a mild aspect of, well ... everything ... Well balanced an quite drinkable. Pleasantly surprised. (#5587, 7/25/2014)

Bottle. Appearance: Pale orange, thick snow white head, tons and tons of visible carbonation. Aroma: quite hoppy (I'm surprised) with a hint of lemon zest, barley and malt in there too. Flavour: Grassy hops however with a mild lemon Flavour running through it, grassy with lots of carbonation, long bitter finish. Not bad.

On tap in Dublin. Pours a golden color with a thick white head made of tiny bubbles. Aroma of hops. Good IPA. I Recommend it.
