19 months in Viognier, Chardonnay, and Zinfindel barrels made of French, American, and Hungarian oak respectively, then blended with a lacto fermented Saison, then cold conditioned and gently carbonated. A hazy, deep golden Belgian Blonde ale with a wine like aroma and flavours of chardonnay, peach, apricot, vanilla, and oak. A hint of funk with moderate acidity and a touch of tannin.

Pours with a hazed yellow hued body with a large white head that is quite retentive. Aromas are elegant with strong floral brett and a deep funk character. Dry and woody, lightly acidic nose.Flavors are dry, earthy, woody and quite tannic. Dry leaves, medium sour, floral and elegant. Peppery phenol, fruity wine notes. Plenty of complexity. Tons of oak vanillins, very lively carbonation (bottle conditioned sample), dry. Very well done!

Pale golden pour with a white head. Nicely tart aroma of lemon and green apple. Notes of cider, white wine, and stone fruits. Vanilla, oak, mild grass, and some subtle chalkiness. The flavor is understated, but enjoyable. Tart lemon, green apple, and grape. Sweet vanilla, apple cider, and light malt. Oak, some grass, and a dry finish.

Sampled at the Union Station - L.A. Beer Week fest. Would have been my favorite if not for the Weird beer. Not super sour and not super wild tasting to me but very approachable with a multitude of flavors swirling in the glass.
