3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mellow citrus, bitter, herbal aroma. Good legs on the glass but head retention is lacking. Orange, citrus, pineapple, rosemary herbal flavor with a light bitterness and slight oil feel that’s most likely from the hops. Great as a dinner drink or by itself.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is musty malt with a hint of hop. Med body. Flavor is malty, moderately hoppy, and I think there’s a hint of chocolate. More and more variegated flavor than most ambers, and the hop is a nice touch, but the musty malt aspect is not appealing. Not an amber fan, but this is much better than many, many, many.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at the Aces & Ales Winter Beer Fest on 01/16/2015. Pours a clear amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and mild hops. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, herbal hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is malty up front with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Piney, resiny, sweet bread nose. Flavor is same plus soft fruit, mild toffee, and candied citrus. Really nice and balanced

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml bottle. Pours a nice amber color with a medium beige head that has fair retention. The aroma is lightly nutty with some grapefruit and pine poking through. The taste is a good dose of toffee malts backed up aggressively by hops that both piney and citrusy. Some nuts, yeast and bread dough are also milling about. The palate is full and a bit slick, and the carbonation is lively. Finishes long and dry. Overall: sigh--another amber ale-- drinkable, but not really worth seeking out again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber color with a one-finger off-white head and ok lace. Mild dark fruit aromas with chocolate malt and earthy hops. Slight caramel sweetness with hints of grapefruit and pine. Medium body, minimal carbonation, prickly mouthfeel and a clean finish.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A nice hopped amber. Nice carbonation and mouthfeel. It's like a weak tongue buckler.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a copper color with a malty aroma. Taste is really bitter for an American Amber beer. The IBU’s and hops comes through especially after the swallow. Slightly more bitter than expected, not complex but very simple and easy drinking.
