12 fl oz bottle via my bro, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear amber (WTF?) with a thin off-white head.
Aroma: Mold, dirt, infection, organic acids, slight barf.
Palate: Medium body with moderate effervescence.
Flav.: Very mouldy and dirty, vegetal, awful.
I’m not even going to swallow a small mouthful.

Pours a clear dark amber under a tall off-white head.
The aroma is lots of caramel along with some nuts.
The flavor is malty and sweet with a nutty finish.
Not bad, a little on the sweet side. A good one for those who dislike any form of hop flavor or aroma.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JaBier (3729) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2012
Sample at the Turkey Creek location. Clear amber to brown color with a thin beige head. Nutty and caramelly malt nose with a bit of sweetness and earthy hops. Caramel and nut flavor with a slight earthy hop edge before a sweet malt finish. Pretty solid brown ale and one of the better brews I’ve had from these guys.

It says something if they have to tell you in the description to look for a "touch of roastedness in the background." Roasted flavor tastes unnatural. Caramel flavor, sweet malts, not too full flavored.

I really wanted to like this beer. It was too bland and a bit too sweet. Almost a watered down feel to it.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color with a thin off white head. Smelled of subdued cola and nuts. There was also a whiff of brown sugar. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet. Toffee, chocolate milk, and light nut-like flavors.
