COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light-bodied, American style lager. Crisp, clean and delicately hopped with a complex combination of imported and domestic hops. Aged longer than other beers of this style for a finer conditioning. 110 Calories.

A blonde lager with a thick white head. In aroma, light chalky malt, no hops. In mouth, a bland sweet malt with faint grassy hops, watery. On tap at Calhoun on the River, Oct. 22 2011.

Got on draft at the brewpub in gatlinburg. Was actually surprised by the low ratings because I felt this was one of the more flavorful light beers I’ve had. Pours a clear pale yellow, looks almost like champagne with bubbles cascading up the glass. Aroma is sweet with touch of lemon. Flavor sweet with nice body for a light, lemon and wheat-like flavors present. Overall very refreshing especially good after a day of hiking in the park.

On tap at Calhoun’s, Knoxville (riverside location) as Calhouns Mountain Light on 9 July 2006. Pale straw colour. Scant aroma. Not a whole lot in the flavour department either. Not a lot to it at all really. Dry and reasonably refreshing but rather anodyne. Inoffensive, just like pretty much any other "brewpub" light beer in the US.

Draft at the brewery. Very light in color, aroma, and flavor. A true mountain light.

Appearance: Pours out a clear body with only a slight yellow tinge to it and capped by a small-sized, sudsy, white head. Smell: Vapid, meager maltiness in the nose and that’s that. Taste: No more than a hint of malt, a hint of sweetness, and a hint of hops (though no real bitterness). Clean albeit empty finish. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Simple and sufficient; it’s a light beer, alright!
