2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 cbrixius (136) - Newberrytown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2007Bottle retrieved from down South when my bro went down a few weeks ago. Poured a clear orangish gold, with a slight head, almost apple juice like. Nose was kind of weak with a hint of sweet fruit. Good impression on first sip, light body, not very complex. Somewhat strawy. Flavor doesn’t stick with you long. Overall, I would say about average for a pils.

Bottle. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear brassy color with a moderate white head. Sweet grainy malt, and light sweet grass/hay flavor. Light body, soft - almost flat- carbonation.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 probstblueribbon (2378) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2012
12 fl oz bottle via my bro, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear amber with a fair off-white head.
Aroma: Strange, hard to describe, almost smoky and soupy quality?, some green, grassy, peppery hops, burnt something, fusel oils/solvent, slightly fruity, what a mess.
Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence that is somewhat pillowy, silky.
Flav.: Strong grain/biscuit, nice green, grassy, peppery hops, a bit herbaceous, a little yeast?, not as messed up as the nose (thankfully), not too bad; dry with good bitterness and a decent biscuit and noble hop finish.
At least it isn’t infected...
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 JaBier (3729) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2012
Sample at one of the restaurant locations in Knoxville. Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Malty nose with some crisp hops. Malty flavor up front with a crisp, bold noble hop backbone. A bit weak on the aroma, but the flavor was spot on for a Bohemian pilsner.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 leah2974 (445) - Georgia, USA - APR 3, 2012
Mild hops, slight sweetness fades to bitter aftertaste, not much mouthfeel until the hops swell at the end.
2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 sbanach (214) - USA - MAR 31, 2012
This one was okay. Aroma is floral hops, appearance is honey color, little carbs, no head/lace. Kind of flat, but i have been sipping on it for awhile and poured the rest in a glass. I don’t normally do that, but was eating some pizza at the time. Taste is medium bitterness, semi sweet from crystal malt. Palate is full mouth feel, All in all, okay brew. Would I have again? Probably not..

Poured from a bottle into a footed pilsener glass. Appearance is a hazy gold to copper, with a thick, steady head of white foam. Nice rings of lacing left behind. Aroma is lightly herbal and sweet. Taste is initially sweet, but quickly moves to a slightly off-putting bitter note. It’s almost a chemical bitterness that I am encountering, but it quickly leaves. The beer is ultra light on the palate, leaving only a floral, resinous overtone for an aftertaste.
