Very impressive brew! This is a stellar showing for an APA. Great amber color, great lacing and a nice hoppy kick in the pants.... I LOVE Alpha King from Three Floyds, and this is the first brewer to actually get in the ballpark taste wise

Pretty standard IPA here. Got some good citrus aroma and flavor. Body is a little thin. Nice sticky bitterness. Not bad.

Both draft and on nitro at the brewpub during Telluride Blue and Brews Weekend 2006: The beer is bright orange-red with a slick-lookcing appeal. Although there’s an understated aroma, this has a nice robust hoppy bite that almost made me pucker. Went back to this one after I ran out of new ones to try.

GABF 2005: poured orange/yellow with a medium head. Moderate hop aroma with a bit of fruit. Medium hopp flavor. The body is fairly thin with a light alcohol finish. Decent.

Deep amber, with a frothy head and sticky, lasting lace. Very smooth and creamy, with a very fitting level of carbonation. Malts were mildish, but offered a rich cocoa undertone. Curiously sticky and cloying at times. Hops provided a balancing element of sweet grass. Overall, pretty good beer.
