May 4, 2008 Bottle. Poured a hazy amber with a thin creamy off-white head. The aroma a pine and citrus mix that is backed with some malts. The flavor had lots of caramel malts followed up with some grapefruit and pine. Starts slightly sweet but ends with a medium bitterness. Medium body. (Rating from June ’07)

May 2, 2008 A- Pours a hazy orange hue with a small, 1 finger white head.
S- Smells of floral hops, deep maltiness, mildly nutty.
T- Taste is quite mild, starts, malty and sweet, moves into pininess and then on to a hop bitterness followed by lingering caramely malt. Hints of alcohol towards the end.
M- A bit light on the carbonation, pretty thick.
D- This was an enjoyable one. The alcohol was definitely there but it was fairly well hidden. A bit off balance. Light in the beginning, heavy in the end. I wish there was a bit more carbonation

Apr 28, 2008 I think that even at the 97th percentile that this one is maybe under rated. I had two bottles of this stuff courtesy of hopdog and 46er3498. Pours an mildly hazy orange with a good head. The aroma is a nice mix of citrus, pine, herb - the good kind, and some sweet malts. It almost smells like a citrus candy in a way. Nice malty sweetness, not cloying, in the flavor accompanied by a good deal of bitterness in the back end comprised of notes of cat pee, leafy weeds, citrus and pine. The hops are dank to say the least. Finishes with a long resiny bitterness that lingers for a long time. Balanced and drinkable. I want some more of this stuff.

Apr 3, 2008 This is definately an IIPA that showcases malt over hops (or very very balanced). Aroma was so so. Citrus, pine and caramel. Pour was a dense murky dirty orange with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was caramelly sweet with just a hint of hops on the back of the throat and into the aftertaste. Hides the alky content better than any beer I’ve had. This is a good beer, but not my style of IIPA.

Mar 29, 2008 Cask at chelsea brewery’s cask festival-Pours golden with hints of red and brown, loads of hops. smell em across the room. A nose of piney hops some spice, caramel, orange rind. really good. taste is subtly fruity with juicy hop flavour and long finish.

Mar 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours deep golden hazy yellow. 2 finger head that leaves nice lacing. Smell is citrusy hops, malt and tough of honey. Taste is nice bitter hops with a decent malt backbone that holds it together. Little bit of alcohol burn as it goes down. Nice resiny mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Decent IIPA.

Mar 19, 2008 Bottle, thanks to john adam2002. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. Malty hoppy bitter aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter flavor with some grassy citrus hints. Has a sweetish malty and hoppy finish with a long bitter aftertaste. A nice beer.

Mar 11, 2008 Bottle. Wonderful aroma hits right as I pull the cap off... grapefruit dominates the air and I watch a massive head develop over what eventually proves to be a dingy orange body. As things die down there is also a pineapple scent that I missed at first. Flavor is pretty sweet at first and then gives way to bitter citrus hops. Wonderfully nice big IIPA.
