Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 12, 2006 An unclear red-orange beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is light malty and light hoppy. THe flavor is sweet malty with notes of oranges and peaches, and a slight hoppy bite, leading to a very bitter and dry finish. The alcohol burns the mouth slightly. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA Oct 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a bright, thick golden color that is lightly headed. Nose is grapefruit and some pine. Flavor is malty sweet upfront but takes you down the hop road until you crash into a wall of hops. I prefer not such a large crescendo and like it when the malts stand a chance. However, all in all this was a pretty good 2IPA. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 10, 2006 Bottle. Muddy amber with a big yellow head. Malty, citrus, hop aroma and taste.
