Commercial Description:
For our hopping regime we went with Cascade and Nuggets in the boiling addition. Centennials were added every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes of the boil. We added Crystals into the whirlpool. Dry hopping was done in both the fermentor after primary fermentation and the bright tank. We used a mixture of Chinook, Nuggets, and Sterlings in the fermentors and whole leaf Centennials in the bright tank.

orange colour, small bubbly head. Hoppy aroma of oranges, nectarines, pines and alcohol. Flavour starts sweet of nectarines but finishes really hoppy of orange-peels and grapefruit.

Rerate: Bottle shared with HogTownHarry. Bottled in 2005. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold, lots of bubbles, with an average size lasting foamy white head. Decent lacing. Big aroma of citrus, pine and floral hops with some caramel malt to balance things out -- very nice. Flavour follows the aroma and unlike last time I do not find it too hoppy but the bitter alcoholic aftertaste is slightly unbalanced, still a damn tasty beer though. Medium bodied. A great IPA!

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, tupalev & jerc -- courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of hops, hops and hops and I loved it! Also some citrus, malt and tea way in the back. The flavour, well, unless you’re a hop-head I wouldn’t bother with this one. I am a hop-head, and I really liked it but even I found it a tad too hoppy. Still, it was very enjoyable.

Golden yellow with a small fluffy white head (3+). Good lacing. Big pine and resin aroma. Interestingly hoppy, wiht lots of leafy resiny hops and trace hints of tea. A touch more malt and balance would ease it closer to perfection. Medium palate. Nice, thanks tupalev.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & jerc. Courtesy of tupalev. Clear golden-orange with a wispy head. Big aroma of piney hops and tea. More tea in the flavour, along with resiny hops and fruit (peach, apricot, pineapple). Finish is bitter, with a lingering lemon character. Nice example of the style.

Courtesy of Pailhead. Pours orange with film for head. Huge sticky pine hop aroma, with lots of sweet malt/residuel sugar. Initial flavor very sweet caramel, turns to big hop bite through the middle and lasts long into the aftertaste.

The aroma is strongly piney, with a fading head. The flavor is bitter upfront- wholly hoppy with a nice balance- not too sweet, but somewhat and thick on the tounge.

It pours a clear honey orange color. Pleasant hop and citrus tones, but not overpowering. Strongly bitter with a near grapefruit aftertaste. For IPA fans only.
