Commercial Description:
For our hopping regime we went with Cascade and Nuggets in the boiling addition. Centennials were added every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes of the boil. We added Crystals into the whirlpool. Dry hopping was done in both the fermentor after primary fermentation and the bright tank. We used a mixture of Chinook, Nuggets, and Sterlings in the fermentors and whole leaf Centennials in the bright tank.

Light Orange in a bottle 1/4" of head. Looks tastey. Ok smells like an IPA! Sweet caramelly hops with a hint of what seems to be a minty odor but not quiet mint. Very smooth hop taste. A bite of bitterness in the end that lingers in the back of the throat. Very Delicious. ME likey likey...It feels like a full bodied pinot noir but better because it’s beer. Not only beer but a really good beer. This beer is smooth as silk. This is very drinkable. It’s an easy to drink and smooth IPA that goes down like a smooth piece of cheesecake but beer.

Courtesy of tpd975. Pours deep gold with copper core and tan head. The aroma is full citrus grapefruit hop tartness and a mild background of sweetness that seems like it must be malts, kind of sugary. The taste is solid citrus hop bitterness from grapefruit and orange peel. Lots and lots of citrus hop bitterness throughout the flavor with a faint background of malt sweetness. This is a solid IPA with plenty of citrus hops to go around. I do get a sense of the ABV but not distracting. It lacks a bit of the IIPA thick viscous chewiness I enjoy in the style.

Courtesy of tpd975. Pours golden, white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity / floral hops. Taste has decent amount of hops bitterness and floral hops, couple with some fruit (grapefruit/citrus), giving a bitter hoppy finish.

Bottle courtesy of tpd975. Pours a slightly golden with a large off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma has tons of floral and citrus hops with a hint of sweet malt and caramel. Taste is the same as aroma but with the citrus hops being more prominent. Medium mouthfeel with a strong amount of bitterness and well hidden alcohol. Not very balanced but I love hops and that makes this a damn fine brew.

22oz bottle served in a tulip glass. Pours a hazy sunburst orange color topped by a lasting off-white head. Smells of pine, sweet mango, and pineapple. Big bitterness comes along with the same flavors as in the smell. Some warmth is created and the bitter finish lasts for several minutes. Lovely.

Bottle, courtesy of GodOfThunder! Pours gold with a fair sized white head a little nice lacing left behind. Huge hoppy nose on this, tons of aromatic grapefruit hops atop some toasty malts. Again the grapefruit and some pine hops are focus of the flavor as well, but balanced with some caramel and toast, nice bitter end. Very impressive! Clean, crisp, smooth and slightly dry finish.

Pours a cloudy, light honey amber with a lingering head. Mild, sticky sweet aroma with malts, hop resin... some funk in there, too - it almost smells like feet. Alcohol burn is apparent - like an amped-up, highly alcoholic lager. Not a great balance - very bitter. Powerful flavor, but the aftertaste just murders the back of your tongue. A good effort, but not my cup of tea.

bomber thanks to mcox90. Pours a cloudy amber with an off-white head. Nose is big on citrus and caramel. Taste is citrus and pine hops with a sweet caramel malt to balance, sort of. Mouthfeel was creamy with a harsh bitter hops finish. A good double-IPA.
