Commercial Description:
For our hopping regime we went with Cascade and Nuggets in the boiling addition. Centennials were added every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes of the boil. We added Crystals into the whirlpool. Dry hopping was done in both the fermentor after primary fermentation and the bright tank. We used a mixture of Chinook, Nuggets, and Sterlings in the fermentors and whole leaf Centennials in the bright tank.

22oz. bottle, trade with 46er3498, thanks Tom. Poured a real nice orange/yellow, nice clingy white head. Nice aroma of pine and citrus. Wow, nice balance, well constructed. Very deep hoppiness to it, quite outstanding.

22oz bottle. Pours a bright, bold pitty orange color; creamy off-white head with solid retention and fine-bubbled lacing; great pour. Loads of oily, resiny citrus and earthy hoppiness in the aroma; clean, crisp, and bitter with minimal astringency; a touch of pine. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of orangey and citrus hoppiness upfront; lots of forward bitterness, mild astringency, and plenty of oily, dripping hoppiness; candy sugar and earthy malts underneath; solid IIPA; touch of dust and breadiness. Lengthy, bitter finish: lots of lasting hop bitterness, earthy malts, with breadiness and toasty malts appearing at the far end; reasonably dry with orange and citrus.

Bottle. Pours cloudy copper with a big, creamy, everlasting beige head and a wall of lacing down the glass. Nose is big on hops - citrusy grapefruit and resiny pine complement the rich vanilla sweetness. Taste begins with a big, creamy, caramel and vanilla sweetness, with a sweet citrus presence ushering in the huge hop note towards the end- big citrusy hops up front, moving to a resiney pine that lingers on the palate for a long, somewhat bitter finish. Mouthfeel is hugely creamy, with carbonation to match. Hugely successful beer with no real weak points.

[1511-20080704] 1pt6floz bottle. Sweet navel orange and bitter citrus rind aroma has a little musty malt and light floral hints. Murky, light brown body with a quick creamy white head. Bitter citrus flavour has a lot of heavy wooden malt. Medium bitter body. Funny label! Solid brew.

Bottle poured pale copper with a finger thick off white head. The nose and flavor were floral and pineapple hops.

Hazy orange-red pour, nicely carbonated with a thick bubbly tan head. Very strong aroma of fruity hops - peach and grapefruit. Floral with some vanilla and pine. Dry bitter flavor with lots of hops but very fruity. Notes of grapefruit. Very good IIPA, but the finish is a bit too bitter and this separates from the top IIPAs.

Bottle, light amber in color, decent head. Smell of sweet, citrus hops. Good lacing. Taste is a strong bitterness. Lots of hops....could use a little more malt character to balance it out. Big bitter after taste. Good texture, smooth and easy to drink. Good DIPA, but not the best.
