COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For our hopping regime we went with Cascade and Nuggets in the boiling addition. Centennials were added every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes of the boil. We added Crystals into the whirlpool. Dry hopping was done in both the fermentor after primary fermentation and the bright tank. We used a mixture of Chinook, Nuggets, and Sterlings in the fermentors and whole leaf Centennials in the bright tank.

Hazy yellow orange pour with a nice white head. Sticky lacing. Aroma is juicy citrus, orange candy, resin, and caramel. Taste is citrus rind, pine, caramel, and lightly earthy. Nicely balanced. Medium full body. Really easy drinking. Good beer.

Pours hazy golden orange with a bit of white sticky head. Smell is caramel malt, hops and resin. Taste is malty up front then a splash of bitter resin on the finish. Medium body, light carbonation. Thought this was way to malty for an IPA

bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Clear pale amber with a full white head that shrinks to a good cover, sheets of lace. Good looking. Nice aroma of light malt and strong hops. Taste is solid lightly caramelized malt that is taken by solid citrus hops. Both sides move to a finish to savor. A deceptively strong IPA, most excellent. High recommendations.

Single bottle from Julio’s. Pours out a hazy light orange color. White head fades to nothing. Strong aroma of sweet burnt rubber and spice. Flavor is sweet and malty up front with layers of muddled hop bitterness. Nothing stands out. very strong finish with some fruity bitterness.

On tap at Macche in Rome. Pours yellow/orange peel color, unfiltered with a white solid foamy head. Nose: background hint (very light) of caramel, speck ham. Mouth: smoked-fried bacon, lemon grass, blast of bitter hops. One of the most peculiar Imperial IPAs I have ever drunk! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very hoppy, fresh and wonderful IPA. Long, fresh, delicious aftertaste. True, but distinct IPA made but one of the Northeast best breweries.

Draft sample at Hopgeist 2014 pour light gold. Nose dank earthy hop with some floral character. Taste more floral, citrus, and slight grassy hop. Fairly sweet early mid palate. Lingering bitter finish. Certainly don’t get the 120 ibu.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2014 Aroma of pineapple and grapefruit, citrus, alcohol and a touch of honey. Taste of citrus pine biscuit malt, grapefruit juicyness. They keep the juiciness well balancedcwith resinous pine characteristics. Works very well. This years is great. This beer should be rated yearly not as just itself. I don’t think they have used the same recipe twice and I highly doubt more than that. Always one of my favorites. This one is very well balanced without compromising complexity.

Gold pour, small white head. aroma is quite hoppy- pot, pine. Kind of funky. Great flavor though, spicy, grassy, grapefruit.
