Poured a deeper hazy orange color with a large of white head. Large particles. Aromas and tastes of pines, grapefruits, and some flowers. Starts off sweet tasting with a nice, big bitter bite (nicely balanced). Very good beer - I liked this one!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bomber. Hazy amber beer with a thin white head. Big fruity/resiny hop aroma with big piny overtones. Crackery and lean maltiness. Tropical mango character. Flavour is very hoppy, resin, pine, soft but heavy insistent bitterness. Fruity flavour throughout. Heavy pithy grapefruit and long bitterness. Some peppery alcoholic flavour. Nice IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Smooth, easy drink. Light colour, good grapefruit and other fruity aroma. Small head. Grassy, piney. More oily than Juicy, well malted, carmel there. So not mouthpuckering. Engaging medium mouthfeel. Mellow overall but still Hophead fix. Dry aftertaste.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle thanks to secret santa. Pours with a large bone colored head over a hazy golden body. Great lace. Aroma is very spicy and floral with notes of citrus, grapefruit peel, grassy and peppery. Candied fruits. Taste is herbal hops, pine, peppery, citrus, fruit, and bitter. Slight caramel character to the finish. Ends cleanly. Bitterness does not linger, but a floral hop note does. Dry. Lively bubbles. Some alcohol noticeable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ home, courtesy of satchboogie. Another fine selection, thanks! Cloudy, bright orange appearance with a big orangish ivory head. Lots of grapefruit and citrus fruits along with a moderate earthy, piney hoppiness in the nose. Big, slightly toasty malty flavor with a moderately bitter, citrusy, piney hoppiness. Pretty good IIPA.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Husky citrus hops fuel the tastebuds...Pine notes prick the tongue...Very similar to and one-dimensional like Magic Hat's HiPA...Well-made, bitter quaffing...

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle from Charles Street Liquors, Boston. Gold colour, thin head. Massive hoppy aroma. Definitely lots of mandarin orange to go with the herbaceous and the resinous. Orange also to the fore on the palate. Coupled with a warming alcohol presence and a fairly sweet mouthfeel, I find distinct echoes of Cointreau or some other orange liquer. There’s quite a strong bitterness to go with the sweetness that lingers into the aftertaste together with a slightly hot alcohol remnant. Undeniably a big beer with not much room for subtlety. Very tasty but just a touch too sweet, verging on syrupy, for me.
