Commercial Description:
For our hopping regime we went with Cascade and Nuggets in the boiling addition. Centennials were added every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes of the boil. We added Crystals into the whirlpool. Dry hopping was done in both the fermentor after primary fermentation and the bright tank. We used a mixture of Chinook, Nuggets, and Sterlings in the fermentors and whole leaf Centennials in the bright tank.

Sampled in a bottle at The Barley Pub in Dover, NH on 11/3/7. Aroma of slight pine with a dominant amount of citrus hops. Clear orange color with a white head. Good lacing. Thick start no to much bitterness in the finish. Strong palate.

Bottle shared by Alexsdad06. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good to excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hoppy and malt aroma with a small alcohol tone. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.

Pretty middle of the road as far as imperial/double IPA’s are concerned. The appearance was great: a hazy orange with nice white head. The aroma was a bit off, though. There were definitely pine notes, but I also detected some coffee, cheese and even garbage accents as well. Maybe I got an off bottle. Taste was bitter in the finish.

22 oz. bottle - thanks to biegaman for the trade; slight haze and middle of the road orange upon pouring; white head retains for a while and leaves lots of lacing; hige aromas of pine hops and sugar; starts thin, but creamy finish; quite bitter, but smooths out nicely with the sweetness; pretty kick ass, even when drank next to a pliny

22oz. bottle, trade with 46er3498, thanks Tom. Poured a real nice orange/yellow, nice clingy white head. Nice aroma of pine and citrus. Wow, nice balance, well constructed. Very deep hoppiness to it, quite outstanding.

22oz bottle. Pours a bright, bold pitty orange color; creamy off-white head with solid retention and fine-bubbled lacing; great pour. Loads of oily, resiny citrus and earthy hoppiness in the aroma; clean, crisp, and bitter with minimal astringency; a touch of pine. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of orangey and citrus hoppiness upfront; lots of forward bitterness, mild astringency, and plenty of oily, dripping hoppiness; candy sugar and earthy malts underneath; solid IIPA; touch of dust and breadiness. Lengthy, bitter finish: lots of lasting hop bitterness, earthy malts, with breadiness and toasty malts appearing at the far end; reasonably dry with orange and citrus.
