Commercial Description:
For our hopping regime we went with Cascade and Nuggets in the boiling addition. Centennials were added every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes of the boil. We added Crystals into the whirlpool. Dry hopping was done in both the fermentor after primary fermentation and the bright tank. We used a mixture of Chinook, Nuggets, and Sterlings in the fermentors and whole leaf Centennials in the bright tank.

Bottle. Pours deep golden hazy yellow. 2 finger head that leaves nice lacing. Smell is citrusy hops, malt and tough of honey. Taste is nice bitter hops with a decent malt backbone that holds it together. Little bit of alcohol burn as it goes down. Nice resiny mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Decent IIPA.

22 oz. bottle bought from Wegmans this past July, I shouldn’t have waited this long to try, started to bubble in the bottle when opened, pours a hazy mixture of peach skin and orange colors into the glass, also, some amber at the sides, gave a large white and off-white creamy head of various bubbles with lots of effervescence that looks very nice, leaves lots of creamy lacing on the glass, has lots of sediment in the bottle, big hop pine with a citrus fruity orange and grapefruit nose when I popped the cap, aroma of toasted malt, light caramel, malt sweetness that has some background fragrance resembling white cake mix, flavor of hops with toasted and sweet malt, citrus orange and grapefruit flavors on the tongue, hop bitterness lingers after the finish, feel a slight alcohol warmth at the back of the throat mixed with the hop bitterness burn but the alcohol is hidden very well, has a more then medium mouth feel with a good creaminess on the palate, this IPA2 may be a tad less viscous then other IPA2s I have sampled but is very good, I found this so easy to gulp down, and this is a sneaker upper in my book, I recommend trying this one.

Bomber thanks to jjpm74. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is full of citrus hops, some caramel and alcohol. The flavor is really nice; tons of bitter citrus hops, like a suped up grapefruit, some pine, a good bit of caramel malt, a bunch of alcohol warmth too. A medium mouthfeel with a long lingering bitterness in the finish. Leaves your palate fairly dry. Very nice. If I need a IPA in a winter storm this will be it.

Bottle shared by Alexsdad06. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good to excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hoppy and malt aroma with a small alcohol tone. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.

Pretty middle of the road as far as imperial/double IPA’s are concerned. The appearance was great: a hazy orange with nice white head. The aroma was a bit off, though. There were definitely pine notes, but I also detected some coffee, cheese and even garbage accents as well. Maybe I got an off bottle. Taste was bitter in the finish.

22 oz. bottle - thanks to biegaman for the trade; slight haze and middle of the road orange upon pouring; white head retains for a while and leaves lots of lacing; hige aromas of pine hops and sugar; starts thin, but creamy finish; quite bitter, but smooths out nicely with the sweetness; pretty kick ass, even when drank next to a pliny
