Best by 3-14. Bottle conditoned Hazy dirty orange, some head fluffy receding to a white cape with spotty lace. Toasted malt aroma with pine light spicey, some herbal, ripe fruit. Has same in taste but a big strong toast malt with big piney grassy grapefruit bitter. Smooth rich toasty dry malt back bone by a big bitter, some dryness & a tinge of alchohol. Its pretty in your face but the hop profile maybe aged/dated some, although I like the hop choices. Iím shure if this were fresh or properly stored cold and shortly consumed that it would be a big knockout ipa for shures.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Yogi's in Bloomington. Huge hops hit you as soon as you taste this beer. Very citrusy and hoppy from start to finish. Nice lacing on the glass, and a crisp clean finish. One of the more powerful/better double IPA's.

3.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy yellow with large off white head. Nose is pine, grass, pineapple mango. Body is medium initial fruity sweetness with pineapple juice, quickly going into a pine bitterness finish, the bitterness is light on the tongue receding quickly. Could use a bit more carbonation to level things off, great ipa, but needs a little more balance.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a nice light golden colour with full frothy head. Aromas of pine, spice, grapefruit zest, grass, & celery are all amplified in the taste, with a slight saltiness. Very nice palate, smooth & medium bodied. Finish is very grassy with pleasant lingering bitterness. Delicious and enjoyable!

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours hazy, light amber with a short,off-white head.
Fruit, pine, caramel aroma.
Taste is sweet fruit, almost tropical, pine/herb hoppy.
Almost sticky, almost a little too boozy..
Toes the line very nicely.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
FROM NOTES: July 3, í12
Poured on tap into a pint glass at Smuttynose Brewery.
A: Sweet fruity tones and cookies initially that give way to a more earthy smell.
A: Pours a golden hazed color with a one-finger width off-white head that dissolves quickly leaving small lacings on the glass. Almost no sign of carbonation.
T: Sweet mango up front, then grapefruit and finally warming alcohol. Itís balancing on the verge of being to strong in alcohol but manages to pull it off. Lasting grapefruit notes.
P: A bit oily in texture. The alcohol is warming just about perfect. Low to medium carbonation.
O: Apart from the nose, which I find a bit uneven, this is a good beer and worth a try.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours apple cider amber orange with a foamy white head that's tinged slighty to yellow. The head settles to a finger and wafts aroma. Wavy lacing that webs up your glass. The nose is caramel peach cobbler citrus and pine forest. Taste is hopped forwards and back and strongly creamy grapefruit citrus. Not overly bitter; but it's there in the aftertaste. Also fresh pine, biscuity malt spine and a very nice, somewhat oily mouthfeel. I like the balance here and find this to be a first class DIPA that does not try to do too much. Wow - I'd drink this again.

This is a pretty darn good beer. The appearance of the bottle is a little weird. A man in speedos just does not do it for me but to each his own. The beer gave good head and smelled alright for an IPA. It left a strong alcoholic tree taste in my mouth. The buzz after one beer was a little much for work but I managed. I was eating snyders hot buffalo wings pretzel pieces but really the beer outpalated them. If I drank four of these beers I would be drunk so its not my favorite. I dont like to feel drunk. I have some big red to hide the scent but hopefully I wont get busted my my boss on this one. Again I could take this beer home to my parents but again they will drink rubbing alcohol to get over ther jitters so thats not saying much. Remember donít drink more than three and drive.
