3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Single bottle at Lemon Tree. Poured this into a small goblet, which kicked up a big white head. Beer beneath is bubbly, dark gold in color, and pretty hazy. Sniffing the head offers plenty of pine needle and resin, and light citrus behind it. Not overpowering, though. Taste is the big hop juice we all know and love. This one’s notched "Bottle Conditioned in May ’11," but the hops have lost none of their punch. Perhaps they did blend together and settle a bit in the nose. I’m going to call this one a little too rough. Malts have take over a little further down the road, but I’ve been leaving too many IIPA’s in the cellar past their prime.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear golden with a thin eggshell head, but the latter is an artifact of the pour. Aroma has a hoppy note, not much else. Hops really come out in the flavor, along with citrus and subtle malty tones. Mouthfeel presents firm body and strong fizz. Starts weak, finishes strong - and has a punch.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orange color with small white head. Aroma is tropical, pine needles, grapefruit, some caramel. Taste is heavy, juicy, similar to the aroma. Quite an extreme unbalanced bitterness. Smooth carbonartion. Alright but not top.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Originally rated on 3/2/15. Pours a murky orange body with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small spots of lace are left around the glass. Smell is of citrus zest, and grapefruit juice. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit, and pine needle, there is an astringent kick thats a real turn off though. Medium body with a decent hop bite. Overall the astrigency aspect really killed a promising beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly hazy yellow/gold with an average size lasting foamy white head. Decent lacing. Big aroma of citrus, pine and floral hops with some caramel malt to balance things out. Tastes similar to the aroma but the bitter alcoholic aftertaste is slightly unbalanced.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle. Hazy orange gold color. Foamy wife head. Aroma has notes of apricot, caramel apples, citrus and perfumy pine hops. Flavor is more of the same, with caramel, apples, pine needles, tropical fruit and a big dose of spicy bitter hops. Some mango and boozy notes in mid taste. Bittersweet toasted malt is eclipsed by the huge hop bill that dominates this DIPA. Dry bitter finish and aftertaste.
