COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What is Bouncy House? It’s the next step in our quest to brew the perfect low-alcohol, high-flavor, hoppy American ale. We learned a few things from brewing ParadoX earlier this year, like lowering the alcohol content and avoiding the terms "session" and "IPA." When you taste Bouncy House, you’ll taste a modest malt bill of North American 2-row, British pale ale malt, C-60 and Aromatic malt mashed for a refreshingly light body that leaves plenty of spotlight for a melange of Warrior, Calypso, El Dorado and Citra hops.

Golden yellow color with tiny specks of sediment inside. Carbonation shoots hastily upward. Hop aroma is oily woods, plus some surprising grapefruit and pineapple. There is some English balance: bready, biscuity, somewhat buttery malts. Surprisingly complex for a sesh. First flavor is grassy, with a touch of tingly spice. The buttery malts again balance the sharpness nicely. Pale ale stuff. The palate is prickly, but it works with this style. It’s a very solid beer; with very sharp hop flavors. Mild for an IPA, flavorful for a session ale.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of exotic fruits, straw, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and exotic fruits, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, small stable bubbly head, very haxzy and quite cloudy lightish orange, pine, tobbaco and some mandarine in the back, flavour of guva and grapefruit with a malty backbone, quite strong grapefruit bitterness, long bitter sour aftertaste thats a bit too dominating. A bit off but still quite drinkable.

From the bottle. Good, hoppy IPA. Nice to drink but not the first IPA I'd grab. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
