COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What is Bouncy House? It’s the next step in our quest to brew the perfect low-alcohol, high-flavor, hoppy American ale. We learned a few things from brewing ParadoX earlier this year, like lowering the alcohol content and avoiding the terms "session" and "IPA." When you taste Bouncy House, you’ll taste a modest malt bill of North American 2-row, British pale ale malt, C-60 and Aromatic malt mashed for a refreshingly light body that leaves plenty of spotlight for a melange of Warrior, Calypso, El Dorado and Citra hops.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker glass. Slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head. Citrusy nose (grapefruit), with some grassy notes and faint pine. Juicy hop flavor, citrus peel, light malt, med-hi bitterness. Medium bodied, dry, a bit one dimensional but OK.

Bottle. Cloudy, glowing orange color with a thick lace head. Huge tropical fruit nose, with grapefruit, papaya, passion fruit, and biscuits. Dry, bitter tropical fruit flavor with grapefruit zest. Very bitter finish. Light body, though silky. Very drinkable and flavorful. Stupid name and label.

Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a hazy orange, with a halo of rocky white head. Aroma of bittering hops, floral notes and some spice. Melon and caramel sweetness in the flavour, with some grassy hop. Finish was really bitter hop resin, dry straw and a little dried fruit.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Sierra Nevada Celebration pint glass. The color is a hazy orange with some slight yellowish highlights and a half a finger of foamy white head that leaves a small amount of lacing on the glass. The smell has some muted fruit aroma that takes some time to be detected. There are hints of tangerine and some flowery aromas that begin to be detected. Some flowery pollen-like aroma hides way back in the background and gives off hints if spring time. The taste is malty at first with some slight bready flavor that tends to be slightly dry tasting and gives off sound hints of dry clay flavor. The bitterness builds from the outer edges of this beer and the taste seems to get sucked away by a bitter hop flavor that has hints of flower stem and sunflower seeds. The feel of this beer is medium bodied with a slightly drinkable feel. At first this beer leaves a unfriendly aftertaste that seems too be but mellows after the first couple of sips. The pallets calms and a smooth aftertaste rolls in.

On tap, light golden yellow with a small head and lacing. Hoppy aroma and somewhat of a sugary carbonated taste. Bitter dry.

Golden beer with an off white head. Light nose of orange peel and hop resin. Easy drinking hop forward beer with bright orange zest and red grapefruit flavors over a nice coarse bread maltiness. Big flavor for session IPA.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run, opened 6/24/14. Pours a hazy amber color with fine floating particles. Medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus and tropical hops, caramel malt and a mild garbage and plastic note. The taste is bitter citrus hops. mild tropical notes, pale malt, a bit of caramel. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness, slightly off balance. Disappointing.
