What is Bouncy House? It’s the next step in our quest to brew the perfect low-alcohol, high-flavor, hoppy American ale. We learned a few things from brewing ParadoX earlier this year, like lowering the alcohol content and avoiding the terms "session" and "IPA." When you taste Bouncy House, you’ll taste a modest malt bill of North American 2-row, British pale ale malt, C-60 and Aromatic malt mashed for a refreshingly light body that leaves plenty of spotlight for a melange of Warrior, Calypso, El Dorado and Citra hops.

Pours a clear amber with a frothy eggshell head, typical but appealing. Malty aroma has a strong woody hop overtone and some fruity co-stars. Flavor is quite hoppy, with hay and slightly bitter woody tones, plus malty and fruity undertones. This will get your taste buds a-bouncin’! Texture is lively, if average in viscosity; finish is fairly hoppy and woody.

Leicht trübes hell orangegelbes Bier mit ordentlicher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, reifes Obst, Aprikosen. Geschmack sehr hopfig, bitter, leichte Aprikosennote, sehr fruchtig.

Appearance: Vibrant cloudy yellow, small pure white head. Aroma: tropical fruit, lemon rind, grassy, slightly milky too. Flavour: spicy lemon bite, quite hoppy, grassy with a mild pepperiness, nice lasting bitter finish. Decent.

Pint at Bigelo’s. A clear honey gold beer that had just a little foam. I got vegetable notes including onions in this and it dominated. I don’t happen to like onion and the flavor always stands out for me. A little cinnamon and a hint of fruit. Soft malts were just fine. It had a watery feel.

Surprisingly complete IPA. Slightly cloudy straw color...but decent body. Excellent hop selection provides expected hop aroma and flavor.

355ml bottle. Orange-golden amber colour, foamy white head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, orange citrus, hop resin. Biscuity malt caramel taste with grapefruit citrus & pine hoppy, earthy bitterness. Tangy mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter lingering finish. Quite drinkable.

12oz bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy orange amber, reasonable head. Resin grain tropical fruit aroma. Grapefruit hop flavour. Dry sharp citrus aftertaste. Wold have been better in 500ml bottle. I like this style of beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, deep golden head with a nice laced, white head. Nice, hoppy aroma with a hint of grapefruit. Tart flavor with a great hoppy presence. Smooth finish. Pretty good session IPA.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a high, large-grained, blown-insulation white head. Nose is herbal and floral -- sage, fir, violets, and geraniums. Grapefruit bitter on the front of the tongue, then segueing into a orange-toffee maltiness; well balanced on the malt vs hops scale, and easy to drink. Not an extreme IPA, just a pleasant one. Enjoyable.
