Pours a crystal clear light orange snowglobe of active carbonation....head laces well after three-finger snowfall settles... fresh-mowed grass and spring farm scents--fresh but not piney or sprucey...herbal, flowery presence...complex and warming taste, pushing hops to the roof and floor of the mouth; mellow maltiness with a zesty lemon finish... soft, almost apologetic mouthfeel that lacks the usual "beerness" to a beer... need I say refreshing? "Lip smacking" is what the label denotes, but I find the beer mellow and at ease, yet less clean or flavorful as some others I’ve sampled within the genre...

Sep 30, 2008 22 oz. bottle - pours mostly clear and dark orange; white head to the edges; some tartness with aromas of orange and lemons; freshest tasting of the 3 sampled together; smooth, rich body; kind of reminds me of a pale ale with the farmhouse flavors; no funk or much sourness; most enjoyable to drink of the 3, but maybe more along the lines of an american saison

Sep 27, 2008 Pretty standard saison made outside of Belgium. Apricot aroma with slight amounts of funk. Nice fruity/spicy taste.

Sep 19, 2008 Pours a beautiful cloudy orange with a creamy white heads. Nice lacing also. Aroma of alcohol and apricot. Carbonated with a touch of bitterness. Not much barnyard funk present, contrary to some other reviewers. Fruity spicy and delicious. A nice surprise and will buy again.

Sep 18, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of fairly rich caramelly malt, typical spicing, fresh dirt, pineapple, lime?, unusual fleshy fruit notes somewhat like avocado, melon rind. Flavor quite sweet and malty with some bittersweet fruit. Dry, earthy, somewhat heavy/syrupy. Something just seemed a little off to me here.

Sep 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep orange with a small, fading white head. Aroma of melon rind, Flavor is light and fruity (melon, apple, pear) with lots of spices (pepper, clove). Not very exciting although certainly drinkable. I would have liked a little funk, seeing as this is supposed to be a saison.
