COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A homage to traditional European beers brewed for quenching the thirst of farm workers of "Saisonaires." A unique Belgian Saison yeast is used to impart a mixture of spice, fruity and earthy notes along with a lip smacking palatability.

Aroma is estery with hints of solvent and fusel alcohols. Appears dark golden, perhaps closer to the yellow of an international lager. Tastes very fruity with slightest hint if bread in the finish. Starts unpleasantly thin, finishes unpleasantly warm and syrupy. The alcohol is well masked though the presence of fuels is a cloying reminder that this is supposed to be a "big" beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Old rating. Solid, but boring saison. Appropriate hay, yeast, pepper, slightly tart, minimal barnyard. Just fine,

Bomber compliments of Phatdog1. Poured an unfiltered golden color with a white top and lacing. Taste of lemon grass, spice, earthy, and a touch of sage. Lively carbonation, medium body. Overall it’s a little watery on the palate, but Smuttynose did a fine job of hiding the alcohol!

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, some vanilla, hints of slight yeast into a bit of grain, touch of white fruit into a bit of yeast. Taste was a mix of grass, bread, some spice into a bit of lemon, white fruits with a hint of orange, finishing spicy, slightly sweet.

Pours a clear carbonated gold with no head. Has a sweet caramel, malt, wheat, and citrus aroma. Has a sweet caramel and prune taste with some citrus and wheat. A slightly sour aftertaste, but nothing intense.
