Clear amber orange with a moderately large head. Some minor gushing out of the bottle, so I guess that’s ok. Aroma is citrusy, spicy, estery. Some caramel in there with lighter malt notes. Oranges are everywhere here. A little bit sweet for the style. Close to the best out there, but not quite there.

Dark orange light brown head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some spice. Smooth taste with a little bitter bite with some earthy spice. Nice body, some wheat and creamyness.

22 oz bottle. Musty floral aroma, citrusy, peaches, wild flowers, with sweet malts on the nose. Pours a cloudy golden blonde with a solid white head that dissipates. Very floral flavor like the aroma, spicy citrus, corriander and grains of paradise, starfruits and kumquats, a lot of tropical fruit flavors. There’s a lot going on in the flavor, maybe a little too fruity. Not bad.

Bottle at lithy’s Septemberfest. Pours an orange hue of gold with big rocky offwhite head. The aroma is spicy yeast with warm wheat notes and light citrus. The flavor is mild orange and papaya with a warm bready feel. It finishes on an earthy note with angel food cake, coriander, zest, and wood. Simple, and a little sweet for the style, but still quite good.

Very Belgian-like aroma, bread and yeast are very evident along with the typical light fruit accents. Golden body with a white head. Clean as well, with light fruits and some malt accents. Cool ending.

Draft at Rustico in Alexandria, VA. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of yeast and lemon, with some faint spice. Initial flavor of pale belgian wheat malts and citrus, with phenols and spices coming through mid palate. Strong yeastiness on the finish, which has a dry and minerally texture. Not too shabby.

22 oz bomber from Discount Liquors. Clear orange with a fluffy off white head. Lots of spice in the nose with malts and hefe notes. Creamy banana esters were not what I was expecting. Orange and lemon with pepper and a slight earthy funk. Lots of toasted malts underlying the flavors. Creamy wheat with a light lemon and banana sweetness. Pepper, spicy hops, earthiness. Decent beer. The slight funk/earthiness is a bit strange, but enjoyable.

22oz bottle from MrBendo. Aroma: Medium sweet maltiness with a light wheat malt note. Spices, orange zest, and some light floral hoppiness. Some very light horseiness comes through as it warms. Appearance: Dark honey in color and lightly hazed. Off-white head is full and foamy with good retention. Good lacing. Flavor: Sweet maltiness upfront, again with a light wheat note. Floral and citrus, Spice and herb, Caramel and yeast. Some light musty horseblanket. Light bitterness and a sweet finish. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Overall: Pretty good, but a little too sweet throughout. Could have used some more hops, too.
