3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 maxwelldeux (2364) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-copper color with a small head. Strong alcohol smell to it with some sweetness underlying it; I also get some floral notes, too. Not as sweet as a lot of Belgian styles, but feels a little dirty to me.

Tap at Bangers and Lace in Chicago. Bright orange pour with a bright white head. Bright citrus and yeast, nice hop backing - very well done!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RABinVA (729) - Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 11, 2012
22 oz bottle. Pours gold/orange with a slight white head that fades to thick lacing. Spicy, bready aroma with a bit of citrus that creates an interesting combination on the nose. Taste is big and yeasty, spicy, hoppy, perfectly bitter...it’s not a perfect combination (definitely sweeter than I’d like) but one of the better belgian IPAs i’ve had.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 thegreenrooster (2822) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Pour is a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity esters with some sugar and spice. Flavor is some dry malts with a little spice and fruit. Decent but not overwhelming.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bbbeer (417) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Hazy orange with small white head. Aroma mostly is citrus hops and there is also some yeast and spices and esters. Medium body, minimal alcohol. Flavor is dominated by citrus hops, there is some yeast, anise, candied fruits in the background. Finish is bitter. Ends up more or less seeming like an IPA with a bit of Belgian triple loitering in the background. Not bad but sometimes these mixed styles end up seeming out of focus.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hombrepalo (1633) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2012
4oz pour at haymarket. pours cloudy orange with a thin white head a bit of lacing. aroma is burnt, yeasty and with notes of citrus. low carbonation and a medium body. alcohol is very apparent in the taste along with the tacky yeast, orange peel and spices. finish is hoppier than expected
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 odinstyr (463) - Hamilton, New Jersey, USA - SEP 2, 2012
Pours a hazy amber with a minimal white head. Smells of basement, dough, fruitiness. Taste is sour, bitter, and mildly sweet. There is a sour fruit taste followed by bitter hops. It’s ok but doesn’t come together well.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 mansquito (2569) - Nueva York, New York, USA - SEP 1, 2012
New Beer Distributors, NY 650ml ($8.25): Pours an orange colour with a white head. Aroma is floral, yeasty, and fruity. Taste is much the same. This beer has a nice Belgian kick that I tend to like. There is a moderate hop bitterness throughout, and that works well enough with the sweetness. (2012 bottle)

On tap at my farewell to NY party at Blind Tiger. Pours a clear orange. Notes of bandaid, lemon, and spruce. Minimal alcohol presence despite an alcohol sting. Something was a bit off here.
