on tap @Blind Tiger-pours a thin retaining off white head and cloudy yellow/orange color. Aroma is resin/pink grapefruit zest hops, secondary somewhat sweet medium malt. Taste is sweet (simcoe/Amarillo & saaz) resin/pink grapefruit zest hops, secondary somewhat sweet medium malt, some coriander/herbal/pepper, yeast, alcohol. Seems like a Belgian SA. Nice effort for a Belgian style by an American brewer.

This isn’t beer, it’s medicine. Aroma was like airplane glue and flavor was pure chemicals, nothing else.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Half Time. Bottled in 2011. Bottle conditioned. Pours orange tinged gold with a creamy near-white head. The aroma is fruit - neither sweet nor unsweet. Almost like a touch of toffee. Full bodied. Flavor is mild yeast spice pepper, with a dry fruitiness - like light stone fruit with a bit of citrus. It finishes very dry, almost astringent. Heat is only apparent in the throat. Strong but subtle. Nice to drink.

Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate fruit, yeast and alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Bottle… Clear light amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose presents floral hops, peaches, pear, clove and mild banana. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is floral and bitter, offering pear and boatloads of apricot and peach. Finishes moderately bitter, mildly spicy and grassy. Bottle courtesy of growler. Thanks, Scott!
