(Draught) Golden colour and lightly hazy. Head is quite small and white. There are hops and fruitiness in aroma. Palate is medium bodied with medium carbonation. I found malts, grass, lots of hops, fruitiness, bitterness and grainy flavours in taste. Aftertaste was mostly bitter.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear amber, tight pale head. Nose is herbal hops, little pine and grapefruit, later on bready maltiness and some husks. Flavor is solid piney hops, grapefruit skin, resiny bitterness, slight toffee and herbal notes. Loads of citric zest in the finish. Medium bodied, soft strong carbonation. Pale and very bitter, crisp brew, maybe could use some depth.

This beer has the best dry hoping for me so far. If you like the finishing hops to be predominate, this is it. Note- I don’t use words like citrus, grapefruit, pesto, or any other similar words to describe beer. If my beer tastes like any of those, I’m dumping it!

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Norfolk. Golden orange pour with an off-white head. Citrus and floral hop aroma with an undeniable caramel malt sweetness. Good grapefruit bitterness balanced with some toffee sweetness. The bitterness really sticks to the tongue and is very nice. This is a very good IPA.

12 oz bottle. Clear amber with a foamy off white head. Aroma is mild caramel malt and some citrus and resinous hops. Starts sweet and fades to bitter. Medium body, average carbonation and a long bitter finish. Not sure I got the freshest bottle but very good none the less.

From tap@Beer Temple, Amsterdam. A fine-laced offwhite head upon a brilliant, deep gold colored body. Strong hop nose; evergreen and spices, citrus peel and resin. Dry pale malts in the background. Taste is very hoppy, but not overdone. Pine forrest, citrus, grass and resin. Almost balanced by a restrained, dry malt body. Supercrisp in the mouth. Mid-bodied. Faint malty, lasting hop bitter ending. Not fully balanced, yet a crisp and quenching IPA.

Bottle, thanks to Secret Santa. Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a small white head that lasts a good while. Aroma reminds me of Sierra Nevada’s Harvest or Torpedo, with that dank pesto and olive oil, as well as earth, leaves, grass, and toast. Tastes similar with plenty of earthy, leafy and slightly spicy hops against a toasted malt background with a slight caramel touch. Finishes like burnt wood and pesto with a touch of ashiness. Medium bodied and pretty creamy mouthfeel. I think Sierra Nevada does this sort of beer a bit better, but I’m a sucker for a beer that oddly makes me think of pasta.

12 oz. Bottle. I am a fan of IPA’s but this one just did not do it for me. The aroma threw it off for me and this carried over into the flavor. Smelled a bit old and funky. Poured a nice color though. With decent head. Not a bad IPA but definetly not a good one.
